Jonathan M. Wild, PhD, CPA
I created this website to share my introductory accounting teaching materials with instructors and students. I have taught and worked on innovative teaching materials for financial, managerial, and intermediate accounting. Moreover, I am always interested in thoughts and perspectives on new materials that I can add to this site to help all of us better teach accounting to the next generation of professionals.
A little about myself: I currently teach at the University of Wisconsin–Parkside. I received a BBA (Accounting) and Masters of Accountancy from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and am a licensed CPA. I completed my PhD at Oklahoma State University. My dissertation covered corporate social responsibility and accounting disclosure transparency, and was chaired by Dursun Delen. I love to teach, and I especially enjoy the introductory and intermediate courses in financial and managerial accounting. I previously worked at PwC in assurance services. In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, basketball and pickleball.
